I have the red dot fitted on a bolt rifle but apart from the visual appearance it seems to do nothing much. Might be a slight but almost unnoticeable range increase but that's hard to tell. Certainly nothing red involved in anything there.
But ignoring all that the main thing is that there are two green dots in the scope and between the two of them not being aligned and the large green dot actually obscuring what you want to hit it's rather annoying. Sometimes when you are moving around and try to aim the fluorescent green dot actually floats around in there. It's bad in something players like me are trying to use as a sniper rifle.
Is a fix still in the works or does anyone know how to get rid of the larger green flouro dot? Just getting rid of that would make life less confusing. Does anyone even know what that big green dot signifies?
Can anyone explain it to me please? I don't get it and I don't like it. Rather hard to actually see what you are aiming for at a distance.
The terrain already blocks many shots that appear to be clean and clear of obstruction and then when you add the aiming difficulty it's resulting in a pretty large waste of ammo.
I know it's all early development. This game is great for early release. So far that's my only feedback that makes it harder for me to play.
