How to save in this game???

I play offline, clocked till lv 5...quit, went back to play and voila, game not save....help anyone???

Hi,thanks for your info, I play Offline most of the time as my village has limited internet access.I guess from the other forum discussions, it`s only by connecting to steam online for the `saved` games to be saved by Cloud online. I was wondering whether there r ways to save games Offline.This is really a fun game : )

If it's only a cloud-save game, I hope that doesn't stay the case for long because I'm going to want play it on my laptop while I travel.

did u download the DLC??I downloaded the DLC, not sure whether the DLC is causing the issue ..too many unknown factors for now

my understanding thus far is as long as u r connected to steam u can save thru cloud.....but it seems to me u meant that u can save offline w/o even connecting to steam(and thus cloud).....how it this so?.....haha

Maybe it's a Steam issue. Unfortunately, Valve is highly unlikely to take responsibility for it even if it's with them given their history.

I tried wat our friend said, hmmmm, yes surprisingly it does retain `purchases,changes to level etc` even when connection was lost halfway(I cut wireless transmission before the game saves) during the gameplay.: ( , I still need internet connection to `retrieve` my character in the first instance.

There might be a miscommunication here because the email I had sent said,

I had figured the reason progress couldn't be saved in the demo was only because it was just a demo. This is a serious concern, as I don't want to spend hours in the game progressing and leveling up only to start all over again the next time I play. I can't just keep the game running forever.

I think we need more people to notify them of this issue.

Try to turn off Steam Cloud Saves on Steam console, maybe itll help.
