Application Error FM2013

Hi, I tried installing fm2013 yesterday and all went smootly until today. Now evrytime I try to launch FM I get an error saying "Application Error(Header)" followed by "A serious error was ancountered and the application will close. An error file has been generated in: "(Path to my crash dumps folder in C:\Users\User\Documents\SI\FM\Crash Dumps\date:yyyy.mm.dd.time.dmp


I've tried to reinstall the game without any luck, verfieing game cache dont change anything, and I have no idea how to procceed now.

Hi, I have the same problem and have tried to reinstall it at least 5 times and same thing appears. Have you solved the problem?

Can you please try deleting your settings files as shown here - http://www.sigames.com/faq/fm13.php?id=69

Then reverifying your cache as shown here - http://www.sigames.com/faq/fm13.php?id=83

hey, thanks for the reply. I didnt see this reply before now. Your solution would probarbly help. But I ended up deleting all Sport interactive folders (included those in "my documents") , re-installed and the game and it now works again. I made a backup of my savegames and evrything seems good for now. I'm running Windows 8, I dont know if that has anything do whit it.

urgh... WEll, I was glad as well, untill the problem came up again. I REALY dont want to re-install the game evrytime to get it to work. I tried the solution you suggested but that did not work. I still get the same error message as in my first post here.

have to join this and saying that I also have tried everything SI and SEGA suggest and I also get Crash dump errors all the time, I can run around 3 weeks after each new complete installation, what about fixing this error or simply put in the option to run without steam, which in my opinion is the cause off all the troubles. This is without any doubt last time I will pay for a game requiering steam. SEGA has tried for 2 weeks to correct the error but they have never heard about any problems before??????, try google crash dump and count the hits. GO FIX this or shut down this stupid program

i have same problem with crash dumps sometimes it can run for a good hour then other times be lucky to play for 30 min lol ive tryed everythin myself nowt works. like gessie said i dont think steam is a good way to run games so yeah i just keep saving after and before a game gets me mad go 7 days then boom crash dumps lol
