FM 13 doesnt start
I happened to be playing just fine 2 days ago. Today when I start the game nothing happens. When I start it again steam says that application is already running. I dont see it in the process list in the task manager. I validated the steam cache 2 times already. What do i do?

EDIT: I formatted my pc again re-downloaded all of the drivers and re-installed the game. Problem was fixed. Backup your save files though.

I'm on PC. I recently formatted my pc though. After format it was working fine as well

I don't get any crash dumps or warning messages. From the shortcut, the game just doesn't start.

I don't get any warning message, only got a crash dump in this folder: "C:\Users\"user_name"\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2013\crash dumps". check this directory, i guess you got some crash dump's.

im having the same problem every time i try to open fm 13 its says steam - error failed to start game (app already running) and i have checked to see if it was but isnt can anyone help me ????

Do you have any kind of anti-virus installed? If so, what type?

I used to have avira free and fm used to work. Right now I don't have any antiviruses.

This is the same problem I had and still haven't been able to play it, no one from Steam or FM ever get back to you though!!
