Problem on Windows 10
It's a long shot, as most of us have moved on to new games. I can't bear to part with the current game I'm in, so have stayed loyal to 2013. However, after upgrading to Windows 10, it doesn't appear to want to load. Anyone else having the same issue? Or know of a workaround?

I've the same problem. For now, I install again the game to see. Before, I saved the directory "Football Manager 2013" in "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\" to another directory. When it's done I come back here to say the result.

When I say "install again", i mean "clean install".

For the record, I have also just ran a clean install and all appears to be well. Thanks for replying.

Verify game cache and it'll work.

I had multiple issues:
1. Could not install - Disc Writing Error. Solution was to update Windows 10, then I got past this error.
2. AVG blocked my Fm.exe file. The Solution for this was to remove AVG and use another Anti Virus, then I got past this error.
3. Unkown error. This was a problem. Again an update to Windows 10 (not sure which one) and a reboot have solved this.

If I run into more errors I will post an Update.

Folks, apologies for not replying earlier. Idon't often log into Steam (I have a FM13 shortcut) and don't get notifications. By clean install I mean uninstalling the entire Football Manager game and reinstalling it. I also uninstalled Steam just to be sure. Make sure you back up your save game file and database to enable you to play it after reinstalling the game.

For the record, not that you will need to do this, I also installed Windows 10 and reformatted my laptop so I was running Windows 10 on a clean system. This was for performance improvements on the OS, nothing to do with the game, and FM13 worked without doing this.

I have been playing since the Windows 10 upgrade and have no no issues. Hopefully this will continue!

insert disc, go to steam setup and select reinstall, it should be ok, worked for me first time. But first delete windows 10 its useless, trust me
