No players at all?

I was trying to play but never got past the waiting queue... So i was never been able to play at all. Are the servers on? Is the game dead already? :O I´ve been trying for 2 hours...

Hey Elladar, what region are you in?

Looks like you posted at around 2am EST, which would be 8am CET. Most players are online between 8-11 EST and CET. If you're in AUS or similar, then it may be harder to find full matches, indeed.

Admittedly, the player count is pretty low right now, but we're focusing on improving the game before we make the push for more players.

Our Discord is also very active, if you wanted to coordinate playing with peeps on there:

There are people playing, just not at all hours of the day. I'd suggest trying those times if you're having trouble as well, or jump on our Discord. Everyone there is happy to chat and organize matches

Its tough to get more than like 5 real players in a match, in my experience more people play Kill Konvoy.
You should be able to join tho, it just fills up with bots

There are peak gameplay times each day. usually starts around 6 am GMT unless i've messed up my time zones. Which is highly likely.

yea even at peak hours youll still see bots

i mean yeah basicly, advertising, adds, trailers, sponsored video's and streams.

i myself am just waiting for a mode without bots, like competitive before i even thing about launching the game again and i can easily imagine the bots issue is one of the main reason pl don't want to play this game anymore

its not a bot issue, its a playerbase issue, which is currently partially intentional.

the devs dont want to advertise the game until its actually in a state they can consider ready for launch, so the playerbase is small at the moment.

bots are just empty spots in lobbies.

if that bothers you, just wait until it is ready for release. no shame or harm in that.

i don't get what made you think it bothers me, i just stated my reason i don't play and the reason some of my friends are not playing the game right now
so in all i just answered the original question but for some reason you had to cry about it
just because you think it may be because of ads, that may be but it's not my own reason
but we can continue the banter anytime if you still wanna respond, lets just hope the discussion doesn't drift of course because of us and gets locked ^^

sorry i did come across a bit more mean than intended, i just wanted to clarify for anyone reading this that its not a case that bots are taking the spots of players and that thats a problem. but that its just that empty spots in a lobby become bots until a player joins to replace em.

just wanted to clarify to folks that bots arent a mandatory part of the matches or that they are being opressive.

I beg the differ. Bots are mandatory in this game, there is no game mode that doesn't have bots, it might be that they are just filling the places of players but they are still mandatory right now in every match that isn't completely full with players, with also mean that the bots are being pressed on ya if you wanna be crystal clear

Sure i guess you can clarify stuff, but don't use my comment and add your own false facts, just because you are a fanboy of this game or do you got any physical proof that tell otherwise, because when i launch the game and join a game the first thing i see is multiple bots

I don't think they're trying to argue with you Jessy

Bots are used in our game to fill up player slots when humans haven't joined yet. When a human player joins, they take the place of the bot. When a human leaves, then a bot takes their place immediately.

We have bots because if humans leave in the middle of the game, we don't want one team to have more players than the other, which would cause imbalance.

Once the game launches out of early access there will be more players in fuller matches, and less bots overall.
