Most amount of concurrent players was 21 days ago, when there were only 2719 people playing at the same time.
Over the last 24 hours, the highest concurrent player count was 413.
Now also take into account that server regions exist - we can speculate there's probably a US server, EU server, Asia server, and now an Oceania server. So that 413 number is heavily divided depending on your region.
Once matchmaking is nailed down, fuller lobbies should become way more common, and ultimately even more so once the game comes officially out of early access and gets some real marketing
The idea is that in the case you get into a lower pop lobby, bots fill the gaps so it's always 8vs8. As people join, bots drop out, and vice verse as players leave.
It's possible to join a match already underway and therefore join a fuller lobby.
The real issue is, a lot of people tend to leave a match right away at the end instead of staying in and letting the lobby get fuller. It can often be a self fulfilling prophecy and perpetuates the cycle
Larger active player population, shorter games, and longer queue times.
Ah yes balanced.
Had a game where i was only playa jus hav'n bots for playaz an' rest uv team were playaz +1 bot.
Quite easy ta spot as bots dont realy use chat an' dey are realy stupid an' ignore ya if ya shot im from far away, while a normal playa would chase ya instantly.
oh yea i also got sick of the bots. i have good wifi idgaf about region locking for network purposes. let me play with the uk people oir whatever my wifi is hard wired,
their just holding there game back by splitting the regions
