Doesn't this have a Twisted Metal feel to it?
I am so excited for this.

Twisted Metal: 40k is everything I ever wanted

It's not exactly like Twisted Metal, but it certainly has a similar feel to the combat

Not really, feels like Unreal Tournament to me. Fast paced skill shooter, harder to aim and faster paced than Twisted Metal, i think

I have not played that before, maybe? For me what came to mind was Twisted Metal. Oh how much I would love for them to bring that game back.

I'm with you, UT 2K4 instantly popped in my head. I believe it was called Onslaught. Played it a lot in UT. This game looks fun. Give me a Manta and I'm set. :annihilate:

If it is like Twisted Metal, there appear to be people who have played that consistently for the past two decades, since the matches I've been in were such stomps from coordinated teams, it was insane. Zero chance of getting any points.

Seems like it could use some balancing..Tank loadout goes down just as fast as the molotov race car and some other thangs.

This game reminds me of both Twisted Metal and Hardware: Online Arena the latter which was on PS2, I played it at Experience, which was a PlayStation 2 event back in 2002 for upcoming games and I attended with my older brother (I was 14 at the time) and they had multiple consoles connected via system link to emulate online play. It was an online vehicle combat arena game which was in its infancy back then for console gaming. You can relate it to World of Tanks.

Good Times.

No because there aren't any power ups etc. The gameplay style is rather different.

Similar or otherwise I dont really care. Not every day you see a vehicular combat pvp game on PC. I love it when a studio takes a risk and attempts something fresh to the table. Something that isnt stale and repetitive like the endless souls, extraction shooters, Mobas and BRs. TRS and Evolve was the boldest idea in the last decade, how many games let you play as the big bad? Yep. None. Pity its timing for releasing when DLC hate was at its peak, and they overestimated the maturity of the general pvp audience.

Does not feel like TM, no.

Yes, but minus the fun factor.
