Fell through geometry and entire crew died from fall damage.
I didn't think to exit the mission because it happened very fast. I am 16 hours in and I'm not willing to lose my crew to a glitch as I was attached to them. If they died from game mechanics that's one thing but they died due to a fault in the game. Is there any way I can retrieve my crew? Can you edit the save game if I send it to you? You'll easily be able to see they all took 100s of points of damage each instantly and simultaneously from the fall.

Hey M0d3u5,

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a bug whilst playing. You say you fell through the geometry, do you mean you fell through the map?

Regrettably, we aren't able to edit save files so this isn't a service we'd be able to perform, but if you can provide more information, we can get this bug looked into for you.

I was driving through atomic city and yes, suddenly the vehicle was below the "plane" of the ground. It fell for what seemed to be hundreds of feet beneath the game world, then crashed into another un-textured brown plane, like a single polygon. Each character took hundreds of damage and all 5 died simultaneously after which I was shown the after action recap and then went back to the citadel to find 5 five statues of them in the shrine.

Needless to say I won't be replaying the game if there is a chance of losing all progress suddenly to a glitch, without warning and with no way to recover it and as a matter of conscience I have to warn others that this is a possibility. For what its worth I was really enjoying the game but I can't continue with the knowledge that this could occur again.

If it matters I was on the northwestern side of Atomic City and had just passed between two buildings nearby a cliff...then was under the level where I could see the empty insides of the buildings etc from below. I found it strange that there was a second "floor" below the level hundreds of feet below.

Anyway, too bad. I'd ask for a refund if it wasn't outside the refund period. I understand glitches happen, you just might want to consider a system whereby you allow a single backup of the current save if you have glitches that can wipe your run.

Thanks for responding.

Thank you for the further details, I've collected it together and sent it off to the dev team for further investigation.

I will also add the feedback regarding back-ups of save files in the case of issues like this.

Thank you for your understanding, and apologies you encountered this during your session.
