Help With The Endings Please!
Hello! (I would do this in Korean but I'm not very good at it)

I know I've posted a lot in this discussion but I really want to enjoy the game and have my questions answered. I have 4 endings, distrust, dennonace (whatever it's called), and Karma. I said 4 because I've gotten deception on a different save. (I haven't bought ep 3 since I want to finish the endings.)

I found out that based on the ending for episode 1, changes other endings. I decided to start a new game, get the distrust ending, then I got the Karma ending. I tried to get the Wrong choice ending but I can't. I finish the distrust ending, get the karma ending, then go back to get wrong choice but instead it leads back to distrust or deception ending.

When I get the dennoance ending, I am able to access soo-jin's route in ep 1 after she bandages up the dude (forget his name). However, After exploring the first hallway of the new building with the 3 keycards, it leads back to the same thing. Distrust or deception. Any ideas on what my problem is? I've played it so many times I found all the easy ways.

My record for distrust ending is 14:18:86. That's how many times I've tried.

Could someone help me so I can continue the game. (I've constantly went in the files and deleted my entire progress to reset my saves and endings). I would love if anyone can help me.

Also may someone make an ending guide? I found amazing ones when the first White Day: Labyrinth named school. Not the remake.

These are my notes for a future video, so I'm not 100% on their accuracy as I haven't tested them and was waiting if the game ever got achievements.

Deception - At the scene where Yung-joo asks where Seo-yeon is, don't tell her.
Dissonance - After getting Deception, play through episode 2.
Distrust - Play Episode 1 again and at the scene where Yung-joo asks where Seo-yeon is, tell her. After the principal chase happens it will show the ending.
Karma - After getting Distrust, play through episode 2.
Wrong Choice - After finishing episode 2, play episode 1 again. At the end, choose to ignore Seo-Yeon and break the barrier.
Blackout - After getting Wrong Choice, play episode 2 again, this will play after exiting the moon puzzle room.
Crucial Mistake - Play episode 1 again and this time choose to collect the fragments of the barrier choice. Run to the auditorium instead.
Confession - Play episode 1 again and choose to collect the fragments again, but this time collect the plates and enter the auditorium.
Endless Whispers - After getting Confession, play episode 2 again and it should trigger after the moon puzzle room. Grab the key from the Library on the 4th floor and open the spectacles case and place it on the bust.
Kkotnim Sweetheart - Instead of using the key, you can go on a collectathon finding all the photos and the white crysanthenum for the occult club. Place the photos on the board to open the locker for the bear, and when you can get into the principals office, collect the document and all items there to trigger an event where you can see someone going into the lost and found in Main Building 2 and collect the diary, then you can collect the candle from the occult club room. Then head to the 3F of the New Building for a cutscene. Then do the endless whispers path with the bust to trigger the ending.

Forgot the names of Episode 3's endings but for the last four endings, there are two for eves-dropping on the conversation in the Broadcast room:
1) Taking the key from Seo
2) not taking it

Then the other two are for directly entering the Broadcast Room at the choice:
3) Not collecting all of Na-young's diary
4) Collecting all of Na-young's diary

Okay so I followed your instructions and either my game is broken or idk what. I got deception then Dissonance like you're suppose to. When I went to play ep. 1 again, I play as the girl and don't get the choice and if I head straight to the broadcasting room I get deception.
What am I suppose to do after I start playing as Soo-jin? I messed around as her in the new building for awhile then I couldn't do anything after getting all the keycards.

Anyway to help with this?
Mack Aug 11, 2023 @ 7:38pm
Okay so it sounds like you're on the kkothim path and unlocked exploration options (I hope). If you want that ending:
- Get the Chrysanthemum in the teachers offices in Building 2
Then get the photos
1 - Outside 2-8
2 - Gap above the Gym Closet
3 - Staircase besides printing room at the shutter
4 - Main Building 2 just above the Counselor's Office at the white door that leads to the New Building
5 - Outside Teachers Room 2 on a monitor, Main Building 2
6 - 2F New Building woman's toilet
7 - Old Library in the Main Building
8 - In the listening/broadcast room, New Building front row seat

Place the photos and grab the bear from the locker. Once you're able to get into the principals office in the New Building pick up the document on the desk to trigger Kims ghost. Head to Main Building 2 at the Lost and Found hallway to see him enter and the door become unlocked. Collect the note there and then head back to the Occult Room to get the candle. You can go to the 3F of New Building to trigger the ending. Go to the 4F Library and grab the case key, head to the ground floor and unlock the spectacles case and use them on the bust.

I also read if you need to reset the endings, apparently you can do Episode 2 and collect the photo in the stairwell, then finish normally and it will allow you to set the Episode 1 ending again. I'm not sure on this though as like I said, I haven't tried most of this myself.

I'll keep trying with the endings. I just finished getting the Revenge ending because I was bored of replaying ep 1 and 2. Thanks though, I'll try the kkothim path. Also how do you get the keycard to the listening room?

Blue key-card is in the principals office. I think you do the hungry ghost quest to get the battery for the safe in the occult room (spawns in the patch of blood at the start of the New Building stairs once done)

That will get you the piano seat key and a new quest for kim, and you follow that questline to get the colored seals along the way. When you need to check the talismans I always check the one upstairs next to the mannequin room first, then work my way through each one.

Once it has you back in the New Building you head to the gymnasium seal and after back down to see the Principal leave his office, which will then be unlocked.

Okay so I do ep 2. I do what you usually do with the ritual seals. Once I have the three talismans I go back to the seals. (All of floor 4, then library correct)? I know the blue keycard is in the principals office because I saw a walkthrough but I couldn’t get that to work for the confession ending. I assume that I don’t do the library puzzle just yet since that will activate the karma or dissonance ending.

Are you able to write down the steps to what ep, and what seals I go to?

Sorry, I know I’m asking a lot but I bought the game and want to get as much out of it as possible

I'll try, but it's long. I got Deception for Episode 1, then Dissonance for Episode 2. Make sure you have collected switchboard a and the remote when doing this as I'm not sure they can be collected in this next part.

Play Episode 1 again and there will be a different outcome at the broadcast room where Jang Sung-tae gets his legged bandaged, he ignores answering the door and you can play as Jung Soo-jin for a bit. This is where you can use the lab remote on the tv and get switchboard b. Opening the switchboard door in Building 2 gets you the yellow card and into the New Building to collect the other two cards after a puzzle. You can then head back to the broadcast room after, but unlock the doors. After the Principal chase will be a new cutscene and Soo-jin will be in the basement instead of Sung-tae. Finish it as normal and at the end you'll meet Seo Yu-ri and the Principal will take Soo-jin and you control Sung-tae again.

Unlock all the doors in the New Building so they are available for episode 2 and get into the auditorium with the blue card, take the tape from the machine and note and use the tape in the dance studio to get the barrier of white tiger. head to the gymnasium seal and agree to get the plates when asked.
-Fire plate at the entrance between Main Building and Building 2
-Wooden plate at the Mannequin room
-Water plate from the Gymnasium/start of Episode 1
This opens a secret door in the auditorium and allows the confession ending

You can now play episode 2 and will have access to most areas and the kkothim path from above. Before starting, it's best to save scum your file if you know how. C:\Users\you\AppData\Local\WD and back up the entire WD folder. You can replace this folder with a copy if you screw something up.

**A few safety/good luck tips I did was that after the mannequin room puzzle, face and head down the right hall to see a Seo Yu-ri cutscene and also when you're told to check the amulets, head to the stairwell to see Seol Ji-hyeon run down and then head upstairs and check the mannequin room amulet first, then the one at the end of Building 1, and the White tiger that leads to the Gymnasium in the New Building.**

Can't help much more than this, this games endings really do my head in as well.

Oh my gosh I’ve always got the cutscene with soo-Jin I just always skipped the cutscene and thought I was playing as Sung-tae to get the deception ending so I would always restart 🤦I just got the Wrong Choice Ending. Now to get Blackout. Sorry for wasting your time but also thanks for the info and occult photos!

I guess my question would be, do we know yet what the true ending is?
Leo Felix May 14, 2024 @ 3:04pm
Firstly, I want to apologize if my question is answered in another thread, but I searched and didn't find anything.

I got the Deception ending, at great cost, as the game insisted on not playing the scene with Yung-joo. I simply appeared outside the room straight away and was only able to go to the new building to get the alternative endings, even though I haven't played episode 2 yet.

Now the same is happening for me to get the Distrust ending. The scene doesn't happen and I can't make the choice.

Is there anything specific to do for this scene to happen?

Thank you very much in advance.

In the last update they made the episodes independent in terms of decisions. That means that at certain points in episode 2 you will have to make decisions from episode 1.
Because of this change, in order to see Eun-joo in episode 1 you do not have to watch Han Na-Young's cutscene after leaving the Authorium hallway at the beginning of the episode (just continue straight down the hallway until you reach the cutscene with Soo-jin). If, on the other hand, you want to go for the other endings of this episode, you have to see said cinematic heading to the phones.
The bad thing is that it seems that an ending is impossible to achieve (Kkotnim Sweetheart) also because of this change in the episodes.

Firstly, I ask you to give me a discount on my English, as I am from Brazil. I'm doing my best. LOL

Ok, dear friend, despite being confused, I believe I understand the concept of what they did, although I think it ended the sequential gameplay that should exist, but anyway... your explanation really deserved an award. Sorry for my long post, but I need to explain what I'm doing.

To begin with, I deleted all the game's save files and settings, so it started from scratch, with no endings obtained.

I start a new game. I kind of managed to figure out the sequence of scenes for Eun Joo to appear and question us, getting the "Distrust" ending. For me, for example, what worked was seeing Seo-yeon, in the corridor and after the battle of the mannequins, going to the 4th floor, to activate the scene with Seo Yuri. This made Eun-joo ask the question. Without that, I immediately switch to playing with Soo-jin, falling squarely on the "Wrong Choice" side.

Then, since there is no more sequel, I played episode 2, from the new game menu and reached the end Karma, but then there's something crazy, which maybe makes sense, taking into account what you told me: leaving the library, after solving the Holy Supper puzzle, right after leaving the hallway, I see a cutscene (which you can't avoid) with a character who I "think" is Ji-hyun, running down the stairs. Soon after, unbelievably, the game, out of nowhere, shows me Eun-joo's question. Even without understanding anything, because it appears without a cutscene, I answer the question and get the Karma ending.

Another New Game and now I went to get the "Wrong Choice" ending, which was no problem.

Now comes the question: how do I get Blackout? I'm stuck in the loop between "Karma" and "Wrong Choice" forever.

If it doesn't bother you, could you give me a tip on what I need to do to get the Blackout ending? I read somewhere that you need to take such a photo. But where is it? That's right? And in which episode? 1 or 2? I thank you in advance.

Hello.
Yes, as you said, you need to grab a photo in the episode 2 to get the other endings of episode 2 (Blackout and Endless Whispers). And, as I said in my last post, Kkotnim Sweetheart ending can't be obtained at the moment.
You can check the location and the moment to pick it up in the image below:
