x360 controller is supported?

I was able to get my Wireless Xbox 360 Controller working with this game.

1. Start JASF and access controller configurations. For every action make sure its set to default by pressing the END key. Save and Exit game.
2. Rename default.db.xml to default.db_orig.xml
3. Make a copy of XBOX 360 Controller.db.xml and rename it to default.db.xml
4. Make sure your XBOX 360 Wireless Controller is connected (Microsoft XBOX 360 Accessories Software)
5. Start JASF and access controller configurations. Pitch / Roll / Free Camera / Start should be good to go but, we need to add the other buttons.
6. R Trigger - Thrust Up / L Trigger - Thrust Down / L Bumper - Yaw Left / R Bumper - Yaw Right / A - Fire Cannon / B - Fire Weapon / D-Pad Up - Cycle Weapon Up / D-Pad Down - Cycle Weapon Down / R Thumbstick Button - Loot to Target / Y - Next Target / Back - Cycle Map / Radar / X - Launch Countermeasures

I wanted to attach my default.db.xml file to save time but, I'm having trouble finding a way to upload a file to this forum.

This just disables YAW completely, it doesn't solve the issue. Any other ideas?

my wired afterglow xbox 360 controller works fine on other supported games but it wont let me use/bind controls to either of the analog sticks?

It works only because Yaw is disabled, like suggested already elsewhere in forums, but it did not FIX the problem. It is merely playable this way, insufficiant for me.

I wish I could just delete this game from my library.

Backup all the .xml file from SteamApps\common\Janes Advanced Strike Fighters\inputconfig to another folder.
Delete the default.db.xml from inputconfig folder (do not forget to backup before!)
Rename the XBOX 360 Controller.db.xml to default.db.xml
Download X360ce from http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list
Don't forget to download the Libraries (i've D/L both of them as running x64 OS but 32bits libs are needed to configure x360ce)

Run X360ce and the correct Libs into the Jane's executable folder : SteamApps\common\Janes Advanced Strike Fighters
Connect your Wireless controler - X360ce will detect it
you will see that X360ce will ask for "Download the settings from internet"
Go after download to "General" tab and load the "Xbox Wireless controler..." preset
Go the Advanced tab and double check that the case " Pass Through" is selected.
close X360ce and run the game.

Never works with my ANATEL (Brasil Cert) Wireless controler
Not needed with my WEEE (European Cert) Wireless controler (Works directly fine)
Not needed with my Wired Controler (Works directly fine)

Ups forgot : Not works with Windows 8 x64 as well (A friend reports that's this tricks works fine with XP SP3 and Seven)

I tried something and it work for me my Xbox 360 controller would not work it would just yaw to the left all the time so I tried a play station 3 controller fix yaw to the left but could not pitch or roll so I keep both controller plug in to my computer and no more yaw to the left I can now play the game with my Xbox 360 controller you may need to set the controls in option menu
