JASF.exe has stopped working
I bought this game yesterday because it was on sale. I am trying to run it for the first time today. When I just run it normally I get the error in the message above. I tried running it in compatibility mode for Win 7 and when I click launch nothing happens. No error, no game, nothing. I try running it as administrator and get this:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I have no idea where to go from here. I tried installing an older DX version as this was suggested in some other threads. That did not help either. I have been itching for a good flight simulater for quite some time. Otherwise my Saitek X52 sits on the shelf looking all neglected and dejected LOL
