Failed to start game (missing executable)

Will not load the game at all. And I personally have not had this issue on Steam before. Not really sure what to do.

I deleted it and re-installed and it still wouldn't work. Any fixes?

I had issues starting the game aswell, it said something along the lines of "the app is already running". I just restarted steam however, and now the game is working. Hopefully that'll help you guys too =)

I just bought the game and it never installed, it just gave the option to play the game. But it just says Failed to start game (missing executable) if it try. I deleted local data and the install button did come up, but it did not download anything just gave me the play button instantly. Steam is now downloading the game files, perhaps the games server is down?

Something is up with their servers. But it also isn't happening with every game. Maybe half of the games I bought today have had this problem.

Crashes upon boot, uninstall, reinstall, still nothing. Too bad, it was a very fun game.
