[Resolved] msvcr100.dll Error

Hello,
Someone plzz help me....
I downloaded AVNT But when i launch it..... It is saying that msvcr100.dll is missing from ur computer......
Help me plzzzz

Hey FEAR, that sounds like there might be an issue with the Visual Studio C++ Redistributable on your system. Either it's missing or corrupted.

Go to www.microsoft.com and search for "Visual Studio C++ Redistributable 2010" and download/run the one for your system (32 or 64 bit).

See if that fixes your issue. Depending on your system's current state, you might need to uninstall it first (if it's installed but broken). However, start with the download from Microsoft's website, first.

i did what u said......
But it didn't do any good...
i installed c++ redristibutable 2010 64bit....
but same error....
any other suggestios...

Hmm. Yeah, you know if you search the internet for msvcr100.dll, seems the primary cause and solution is what I gave you :)

What you could try is uninstalling it completely (from Add/Remove programs) and reinstalling it rather than just updating it.

BTW, I just checked my system, and I have both 32 and 64 bit installed. I'd try doing the 32 bit one, as well, particularly since the game is 32 bit.

That's a shared/common DLL, meaning it's not specific to AVNT, which makes it hard to provide support on if it's not functioning correctly or missing, so hopefully it's installing the 32 bit or uninstalling/reinstalling is all it takes.

You may also want to check your computer's event logs to see if it's reporting another, more specific error.

I Downloaded 32bit or 86bit.....
And after installing that the error was gone...
but the game still not running.....
wat to do...
Should i intall 32 bit windows on my pc...
or just redownload the game...
or any other sugestion.....

So now that you don't get an error, is the game trying to start? Do you get an error log here:
...\Documents\aVirusNamedTom\aVirusNamedTom_error.log

After checking for error log (remember to also check the Windows event log), you may wish to simply do an uninstal/reinstall. Generally C++ redist needs to be installed before installing an application, and the install may simply need to be installed now that that has been corrected..
