Deluxe Edition
Any one know what this entails?

Yeah, I think an easier way would be to mention it like this...

1. Standard Edition ($50): Game only, season pass included free until 3/31/24.

2. Deluxe Edition ($60): Game with 25 announcer/character voices in-game that you can toggle in the options, also includes season pass free until 3/31/24. (Deluxe Edition then becomes $70 starting 4/1/24.)

Should be the character system voices and the season pass

edit: just checked their twitter, says it's Season Pass and immediately unlocks Kuon for Early Purchase, so not sure what else is supposed to come with it

Season pass is a early purchase bonus

Yeah I already brought the Deluxe Edition of Under Night In-Birth II being that the Deluxe Edition was $60.

They updated the steam page, it includes the character voice packs + season pass. It seems it’s only worth it after the early bonus is done as you can get the season pass through that

Yeah, just imagine how much it would be getting the announcer/system voices and the season pass separately. Meanwhile in the console space, those buying the digital deluxe version on PS will play 3 days early, Switch and PC players don't get that luxury.

It seems like they just added the early purchase bonus for just the regular version of the game. It's not entirely clear but does that mean you can just buy the base version and that'll come with the Season 1 character pass as well? Sans the bonus voice packs and etc. that comes with the deluxe edition?

Yeah that makes way more sense. Yesterday they only had the Deluxe Edition listed as Early Purchase in the store which is what made things really confusing. Looks like they updated it at some point to show that both versions of the game have Early Purchase right now.

Soooo than regular also has season pass? But not rollcall?

I just want season pass and game I really don't need the announcers so which one do I buy?

I'm confused as to what the 25 announcer characters are referring to. Does that mean that if you buy the standard edition, the characters will not be voiced? Could someone please clarify this for me? Many thanks in advance.

All characters are voiced regardless of what edition you buy, That is, when they perform an action during a round or say their little piece at the beginning/end of a match, they'll always be voiced.

The announcer is the voice that calls out events during a round:
"First clause - divide!"
"Second clause - divide!"
"Final clause - divide!"
"Counter!"
"Breakdown!"
"Winner - <character name>. (Perfect.)"

If this game is like the previous game, the announcer is a female voice that doesn't sound like any of the characters. By obtaining announcer character voices, you have the option to change the announcer's voice to that of said character. So if you like a certain character, let's take Linne for example, you can change the announcer's voice so that it sounds like Linne is calling out events during the round.
