If SNK, who is pretty broke last time I checked, can do it, maybe Arcsys (who are publishers of this game) can fund the port. This is purely speculation.
Also blame SEGA for never releasing Ignition to the WEST. They gatekept it behind the sales of vanilla in its Western release in which they stated that if they wanted to see Ignition released in the West, the sales of vanilla had to show it. It didn't show so they never bothered with it (this was stated on their now-defunct & deleted forums).
Maybe they could reconsider it now since they're digging through their back catalog of IPs and such (they'll still need to get permission from Dengeki Bunko though).
They seem too focus on reviving the Virtual Fighter which is a much bigger IP and probably getting support from Nvidia
