Holy Fk Please Fix the Crashes

There is no worse feeling in the game to be multiple turns in and the game crashes, causing you to start from the beginning of the combat.

Honestly. Cant even load my save without it crashing mid loading. So I havent been able to play since the day I got it.

Are ya'll using ssd's or m.2s? I have had 1 crash in 40 hours. So maklng sure its on a decent drive might help.

crashes constantly for me. After each mission after the cut scene when heading back to base. Crashes every single time. Occasionally i can reload and get through to next mission, but rarely. I really want to like this game, but its pretty unplayable currently.

It's seemingly random who has crashes and who doesn't. I've got a pretty fast PC that I built from good components (9800X3D, 5070Ti, installed on a 4tb Crucial m2 drive). All other games I have played run flawlessly, except for this one. Last weekend I was able to play for maybe 4 hours straight, no issues, other days I can't even get the game to load past compiling shaders or if I get past that it hangs my GPU when I click continue.

I can't even get to the menu. As soon as it hits 100% for compelling shaders it crashes Nvidia drivers (even 14 or 153).

So, it's completely unplayable for me. No particular idea where to report this. Yes I know the devs have mentioned a patch is coming but still, thought I should post.

Not sure whats going on with shader caching in newer games, not sure if its UE5 related or what, but seems like more and more games are having issues building the cache. Might try clearing your shader cache in Nvidia control panel. I know its in there somewhere. Pretty sure amd cards have that option as well. Might also try disabling multithreading. I believe the 13th and 14th intel chips had some kind of issue with games and multithreading. I personally havent had any issues with star wars but i had tons of issues with black flag resynced. I had to disable multithreading and manually clear my shader cache in nvidia control panel to get that game working correctly. Not sure if multithreading effects this game, but from the soumd of it, seems like something may be corrupted in ur gpu's shader cache, possibly from star wars itself but possibly from anothers games caching as well. Clearing it and letting the game rebuild the cache may help.

game crashes and wont load if i load anything in the den but loads fine if i load any mission or in battle game saves.

1: see the FAQ above and try what it says. Works for some peeps not for others.

Edit; and no I’m not defending, glazing or anything. Just point out what has been answered already, which would have been seen if people actually looked and read before posting
