i reset my days but kept everything, what do i do.

i went into the blue portal at the 5th dimension and i saw a giant black hole thing so i used colossal blast to blow it up and as it started to blow up i went towards it and started to lose hp and then it put me into a loading screen and started me all the way at the start of the game where u spawn in and have to talk to the guy about losing your skills but i still have my armour, skills, level, energy and everything, is this a glitch or meant to be in the game. ( ik word vomit )

That's called NG+.

It's a common mechanic in a lot of games, you reset to the beginning but keep your personal character stuff, while enemies gain increased health, damage, and defensive values.
