Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone

COOP
Although I'm used to playing solo, I'm wondering how difficult / expensive it is to make it possible to complete the entire game or most of the game in cooperative mode. For example, a team that consists of one leader (the protagonist), who is "fully functional", and 2-3 companions who can only fight enemies and follow the leader.
And I also wonder if it is possible to add the ability for players to "inhabit" enemies, i.e. several players play as the protagonist's team, and several control some enemies (soldiers, monsters) and can "move" from one enemy into another.
In my opinion, such multiplayer features will be interesting for many players.

I think they made a non full co-op because they are a small studio and don't want to make promise that they can't keep.

I don't think multiplayer pvp have a place in this game..

But i think they can make a full co-op experience. Maybe in a future update ?

The most important thing is high-quality SP gameplay and story, and for greater popularity of the game, different options for playing in the main company and various modes can be useful - free survival, full-fledged co-op, MP fights.
And in my opinion, a hybrid mode that combines story missions and battles with both NPCs and people who "inhabit" enemies would be an interesting option. Although I'm not a big fan of multiplayer, but for a change, I would love to play as the enemies of the main character. I even came up with rules that would make it interesting for me to play as enemies, and I think such rules would be interesting to many.
