Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone

Will there be romance options in the game?
Since we are no longer playing as the protagonist from the first game and no longer searching for our wife,
Will there be romance options in the game?
Like many other RPG games.

No, the game will not have optional romances, though romantic and family storylines may appear, similar to how they did in Chernobylite 1 and Get Even. Even though Chernobylite 2 is an RPG, it remains a survival horror set in Chernobyl. The primary goal is survival, and romance isn’t exactly helpful in that regard.

Why do you want romance ?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Im not sure about options and devs already answered but maybe you could find two skeletons in close embrace so "some romance" actually could be there.... :-)

This is sad news, because other post apocalyptic games had it, like Elex 1 & 2 and Postal games. even Metro series (although it wasn't really an option, but a story - but still good)
Maybe you could make achievable stretch goal for it?
Or make a story romance, like in Metro? or at least like in Chernobylite 1?

No good a men being alone (even if it's only in-game) ;)

Every game doesnt need it and Elex world is different. I dont think that Chernobylite is good for it.

Perhaps it could be there in forms of vague flashbacks or memories - like you HAD partner or at least platonic love in normal outside world. That would probably make sense... but traditional romance not so much.

Or... if you really need romance - check my previous post. :-)

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Chernobylite 2 tells the story of a specific protagonist with specific goals and a specific history.
