Is it okay to put my actual information in?

In the part where Kinito asks for your personal information, (address, email, etc) is it okay to actually input your real information? Namely address?

I don't think it'll do anything. This is just a game. And another thing is Kinito will see where you live afterwards, regardless you give him your address as a game mechanic.

The program doesn't seem to record what you put into those fields or send that information to a server.

It is a reference to the original Bonzai Buddy program, which did collect all of that information AND sent it back to the developers. This caused a lot of controversy, as that information was often collected from children who didn't know any better, and having the personal information of dozens and dozens of children ends up looking suspicious.

you can pretty easily stop him from doing that by clicking anywhere on the screen, so he didnt find my location anyway

I've never seen any of this happen in-game, can you tell me at what part in the game it shows your address?

when you sign up for the friendship program, if you don't do the right address then kinito will show your address. sometimes it glitches out and shows how to find your address, but luck is not the only way to not have your address shown. you can just turn on streamer mode and kinito will say he does not want to show fans your address

I don't know if it's because of being on Windows 11 for me, but he never actually shows your address. For me he just pulls up my search thing on my taskbar and looks up "where is my location" and you see the results for it, then he takes a few moments saying he's "getting the information" to imply that he just location searched you by your IP, but it doesn't actually physically go to the result and show my IP or location.

nothing will happen if you put your actual info, the game doesn't have a server for someone to recieve it so its fine. but if you did put an existing email address in, its gonna send a letter to that address. if you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam folder
