It is a reference to the original Bonzai Buddy program, which did collect all of that information AND sent it back to the developers. This caused a lot of controversy, as that information was often collected from children who didn't know any better, and having the personal information of dozens and dozens of children ends up looking suspicious.
I've never seen any of this happen in-game, can you tell me at what part in the game it shows your address?
when you sign up for the friendship program, if you don't do the right address then kinito will show your address. sometimes it glitches out and shows how to find your address, but luck is not the only way to not have your address shown. you can just turn on streamer mode and kinito will say he does not want to show fans your address
