If you're worried
I watched a streamer play this game and saw a lot of people were worried this game is some kind of malware. While the game doesn't seam to do anything malicious to your system from a glance at what it does visually on the stream, it does state it accesses your windows registry and files.

If you are going to play this game now, I would advise making a windows restore point before downloading and starting the game, then reverting back to that restore point afterwards, this will remove any changes to the files and registry. You can also adjust your windows settings to prevent windows from detecting your location and unplug your camera. If your camera is inbuilt (like a laptop) cover it with stickers or blu tack.

If you're not that invested into playing this game, I would just wait a while so white hat hackers can take a look at the game, they will tell anyone if it actually does anything malicious. The game is however on Steam, it shouldn't do anything malicious to your PC, but people have found ways around virus scanners before.

I doubt it's malicious personally, but it does seem to try and apply a lot of phishing tricks at the start of the game, so DO NOT INPUT ANY REAL INFORMATION. KinitoPET doesn't seem to use the information you input much in the actual game, and it seems to attempt to put it into plain sight as to make it seem less suspicious. It starts off by trying to trick you into putting in a password for something with the fake login screen, asks you many personal questions that could narrow down security questions, and tries to take a photo of you and track your address.

Overall though, that's common scare tactics with these types of games, it doesn't actually look like it tries to send that data anyway, and you can stop it from doing so by just disconnecting your computer from the internet when you play the game. Be safe, be smart, and enjoy!

Edit: I read some people have had problems with this game causing their monitors to go black, try pressing the windows key, shift, ctrl, and B on your keyboard if this happens. That should fix it, but I'm not entirely sure, I don't intend to play this game.

If you're having trouble running the game on your operating system you can also try creating a virtual machine with Windows 10 running on it, then run the game on that. That will allow you to easily wipe any changes the game makes afterwards too as it won't affect your actual OS.
