Game not letting me start a new game
So I've been having a blast with this game but recently came across a problem, I was wanting to delete my saved game to rewatch the opening cutscene (since I was just testing the game before and skipped it) but when I did the file didn't delete, and when I tried to open it it would either give me a corrupted file message or would let me play the game but wouldn't let me save, so i deleted that manually in the files and now the game won't even let me start a new game, even after deleting and reinstalling the game, can someone please help? From what I've seen this is a common issue but I couldn't find a solution in any of the forums

Hi,

Apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that you are unable to start a new game on Rayman Origins.

First of all I would recommend running a disk cleanup[support.microsoft.com]in Windows and then try again.

If that does not help then could you try uninstalling the game and Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com], and then install them on another drive if possible, then reinstall them and try again.

However, if the issue still persists could you try creating a new Windows Admin account on your computer. Once you have done this, log in on that new account and try again.

Please let us know if any of those steps help to resolve your issue.

Hey there,

Were you able to complete the above steps on your original account too?

Along with running the game as an admin[ubi.li] there too?

I don't know if you have solved the problem but I have checked the Windows Defender and it worked for me
