Game difficulty
Is it me, or is the game kinda hard? I'm finding myself repeating some stages over and over again... :/ ...Well, i can't complain since i really like a challenging game. What do you guys think?

Yes it does have its moments, visually it's a stunning game.

The game itself was designed to get harder and harder over time so thats probably why :/

This warp zone in Super Meat Boy is harder than anything in Rayman Origins in my opinion.

I actually think that is a pretty easy :P

Can't compare this to the kid warp zone...

I have to agree with the OP if found Meat Boy hard, but for the most part not as hard as those latter treasure run levels in Rayman. I don't know why? Totaly stuck on the 3rd one, for me the controls just feel a little 'off' compared to SB.

I've been somewhat surprised as to how fast the difficulty has ramped up in this game. I initially played the first 3-4 worlds with a friend and it was a joke, however solo play is much less forgiving.

Some of the coins (particularly in ice levels) have provided as much frustration as some of the intermediate dark world levels on SMB, although I haven't seen any real peaks in Rayman like those in late game SMB yet.

It's easier if you play co-op.

Yeah this game is hard but it is also extremely fun. So far the hardest was getting the second to last tooth. WOW that was extremely long and hard. My friend was laughing at how incredibly hard that was and just saying how BS it is. Still passed it though. I will definitly pick up Legends in time.

Honestly, it's like a reboot of the original, with smoother graphics and a bit more freedom

The game difficulty can be quite easy or very hard depending on how you play the game.

For each level you can choose to complete it in the easiest way, or with more challenge:
1) Just go to the end (easiest)
2) Find the 2 secret doors to unlock 2 more electoons (easy)
3) Slap the clock for the time trial challenge (a bit harder)
4) Unlock the 2 last electoons by collecting most of the lums, using the king lums and the skull coins to exceed the 300 lums (this is old school difficulty)

It's interresting that this game can be appreciated by all the players and encourage the gamers to improve their skill.

On the othe hand, the multiplayer mode can be very easy: only one caracter has to stay alive and can slap the other ones to get them back in the game.

Starting with the base that the game is programmed with the feet. On PC it has a frightening input lag, you will fall short in each time jump. A worse hitbox, the enemies kill you if I still want to approach you. As for the mechanics, Rayman jumps from an opposite extreme when you are attached to the wall and in more than one occasion it is insoprotable and makes you die. And not to mention that you die of a SINGLE BEAT! Maximum you can have a heart that gives you the possibility of two strokes and voila.
As for the levels are accelerated and quite chaotic, the enemies have no pattern. Basically you defeat the enemies of casulity and not by ability.
In short, the game is heavily programmed and broken in all aspects. It is one of the scariest platform games I play in my life. Only recommended for fans of Rayman.

@LOR PAL: You should check your configuration, because this game has no input lag.
Gameplay is based on precision, so you can't appreciate this game with your lag issue.
But I enjoyed this game so much that I recommend you to play this game on another PC and give it a second chance.

There are few threads about controller issues that you can check :

Always bothered me when people said stuff like "this game is too easy, too short" when all they did was reach the end. Games like this are meant to be accessible. As Lolo said, most people can reach and beat the final level but 100%ing is a whole other beast.
