How to put this..........Rayman is very much a creation of the 90's it embodies the 90's and late 80's with that said if you have a issue with this shoot yourself in the foot, and don't pretend u didn't watch, allow your kids to watch, or if you where a kid at the time, didn't watch stuff like X-Men, or The 90's Spiderman cartoon, both where overly sexualized, but no one carried.......♥♥♥♥ even platformers girlfreinds from that time where overly sexualized. Its really not bad, and its not like RISKY, ive seen more risky looking charcters in recent cartoons on tv. This is rated G, if your having some creepy thought provking thoughts then it falls on you. They're nympths, they don't even have a perfect body type. You don't expect nymphs to be dresses like nuns, but at the same time, most of them are not even dramaticaly over-sexualized.

Definition of nymph goes: "A nymph is a minor female nature deity typically associated with a particular location or landform." and this is why we have them in Rayman Origins.

Nymphs being human is just an artistic choice, if you still have questions, I suggest you to reach out to Michel Ancel, he's the guy who came up with and designed ALL Rayman games and he's also the director of art.

Here also, why would this mean that people shouldn't voice their discontent with an artistic decision?
If anything, the nymphs break the style, by being overly human, while the rest is not. Unless you mean, that they are conforming to the modern style of displaying women, in which case they sure didn't bother to give Rayman a sixpack and a stubby beard, like all modern protagonists have.

At what point in developement, do you think they suddenly realized that they had called the women nymphs and were radically forced to make them this human? If they hadn't wanted to show them like this, they wouldn't have done it.

Technically all the charcters in the orginal rayman, Rayman, Betilla the fairy* Now repurposed as Nypth) The Livingstones, Hunters, Etc all had limbs but during development it was found to hard to animated limbs, which at that point they decided Rayman would be a cool charcter, maybe that should be his thing limbless, but then for the first game they also just decided to do it to the rest of the cast as well, just cause it would make development so much easier.

By the time the 2nd game came around, they had the tech and man power to do more elaborte charcter designs, re instating limbs to all of the charcters of raymans world except rayman, cause thats what made his charcter speacil. Also so they have boobs? point is they went to a more conteporary art style, the orginal rayman game had a art style of something like felix the cat or mickey mouse from the 40's the whole boob debate is stupid , its not like they have killer clevage and huge racks. They dress more moderately then most women you see on a daily bases. So no I dont belive its been sexualized, also rayman and its world was always supposty have alot of personallity, he was suppost to be a bit of a butt head.

One last thing in old fairy tells, and other media, and works of littutre, most nypths and fairys, and naked and show the female figure, or they dress very little, if you really wanna ♥♥♥♥♥ u shouldn't there overly dressed xD vs what orginal nyphs and fairys look like in some of the earliest work in human history.

I am sorry if your uncomftorable with the human physilogy, but the game is french, pure french, and there open about sexy, and valmpus women, nothing bad.
