UPlay?
I was planning to buy Rayman Origins, but then I reminded myself that the developer is Ubisoft which tries to shove UPlay everywhere and I'm not downloading that even if someone took my dog hostage. I checked if it required UPlay, but it said ''DRM Support - No 3rd party DRM'' or something like that. I'm a bit confused now, so can anyone give me a definitive answer?

No uPlay for Rayman Origins (but no Steam Cloud,no Achievments and no Online Multiplayer).
Rayman Legends requires uPlay.

Uplay is this DRM system used by Ubisoft on their games to tackle internet Piracy. You can get units to spend on music and other cool stuff.

You need it once you get a certain Ubisoft Game, like Tetris Ultimate or Assassin's Creed Unity.

I think the biggest problem that most people have with it is that it exists at all, that is has server problems from time to time and that uplay games tend to disable or not use a few great steam features (cloud saving, achievements, trading cards, steam overlay).
