Can't get an Xbox One controller to work
I've tried all the fixes for getting a 360 controller to work (which should have worked for a One controller but didn't) like having it plugged in before starting the game and pressing the default controls button but nothing worked so far. Anyone got a fix for this?

I seemed to have fixed it just by deleting the Xbox controller drivers and reinstalling them. Didn't touch anything else so hopefully it will work for you.

My XBox 360 controller works perfectly. Did you bind everything in the settings to your personal preferance?

This worked for me: Starting your Xbox controller before the game starts up, then with the keyboard and mouse go into setting, controlls and hitting the "reset button".
Hope it works for you.

Okay, so I had the exact same problem with my wireless Xbox One Controller on Windows 10 and if anyone has the same problem, here's what fixed it for me:

-I went to "device manager"
-selecting the thing that says "(human interface devices)
-and there was this weird driver called "vJoy" or something like that...
-rightklicked, deleted it and voilá! :golden:

Xbox Gaming Device.
That's the only driver that should be applied.
