Needing guidance on how to progress to the second world

I have done all the challenges in the first world (but did not get 100% of all the Lums), bar one of the challenges - a time challenge. Is this the reason why I have not proceeded yet to the second world? Thanks.

To answer your question, yes I did. which I think is the boss level. I repeated this level yesterday, trying to get everything I could, but still no luck.

I had no problems like this when I played Raymans Legend.

It should've automatically showed you the world map, have you pressed the back button?

Yea try to access the world map and navigate through it.

That's worked, thanks for that. Silly mistake on my part as I confused backspace with the space button.

While I am in touch with both of you, could you be kind enough to let me know of any similar games like Rayman. I have done a search for Steam games like this and have not found any that have the same feel of this game, including the game Ori and the Blind Forest.

Sorry, I was busy/lazy. I don't actually play that many platformers, but if you tell me what you like about the game I might be able to think of something. I can tell you that Sonic Mania is a good platformer, i don't know if you'd like it though. I'm assuming you already know of rayman legends, but you could look at the original rayman, which is known being absolutely brutal, but it's probably a bit different. You can probably find a rayman download online, or just download the fan project known as rayman redemption. In case you already know that, then for reference the only rayman games I've played are the awesome games of origins and legends.

Thanks for that. I've looked into Sonic Mania, but it is not for me. I tried the original Rayman games on my psp, bu as you say, they are brutal.
