No sound effects

I have a weird problem where the only thing i can hear is the music. The sound effects of punching, grabbing a lum, or anything isn't playing even though the sfx volume is maxed out. And it isn't my headset because I tested it out on other games. If anyone knows what's wrong or how to fix it, it would be very appreciated. Thnx.

i have this problem too, literally no one else on the internet has it. the only clues i got to whats causing it is that i had the ubiplay versions of origins/legends and i wanted to give ubi more rayman money so i bought the steam versions. the second i downloaded them, it completely broke my sound effects in both of those games, even my ubiplay versions which were perfect prior. at the exact same time i bought De blob 1 and 2 (all during the november sale) and they have the exact same problem (except i didnt have these anywhere else prior). it lead me to believe it was a directx9 problem so i went into the rayman origins redist folder and reinstalled directx but nope. this post is a bit old so if youve fixed it please lemme know!

Have you tried uninstalling either version and see if the sound returns to the other?
