Error code 2908

I tried to launch it after installation, but when xnafx40_redist.msi is being installed, it stops halfway through and quits to windows. I tried installing it by using the installer in the dependency folder in steamApps, but it when installing it says installation crashed due to error code 2908. I had the same problem with Magicka, and I've tried the usual suggestions like turning the .net framework on/off using windows features and retrying, but nothing works.

I have the same problem. Bought it last night and can't play it. There is no information for what the problem is. I clicked launch after installation got to step 2 (xnafx40_redist.msi) and it just sits there. I tried repairing the file through microsoft and everything but it just won't work.

Tried again today and it worked. Maybe just try after the current steam update.
