Stuck in Loop

So, I'm having to type through my phone, as I'm playing on my comp right now and have gotten "Soft Locked". I'm on level 2-12, stuck on the right side, bouncing in the same 8 spots over and over. I have no magic, there's only one slime left on the field, and have been stuck like this for almost 30 minutes now. I don't want to save and quit as that will reset my score, and have been waiting for the slime to come to my rescue

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, and if so, why hasn't a sort of 'ball retrieval' system been added?

Aaaand just as I posted the loop broke thanks to that lone slime. Total time of loop was 32 minutes.
