Infinite FPS

I didnt have this issue last year. Now I installed the game again but i cant lock the fps with nvidia or steam commands.

Does someone know what to do here?

Infinite fps? That's pretty wicked. I've checked it out just now and I've had ~63fps, which is what I think what the game defaults to. 32bit fullscreen in the options and integer scaling enabled in the steam launch options. I'm on amd and linux though.

Have you tried RivaTuner SS and limit fps through there? No idea what can be causing infinite fps. At worst case I would try fullscreen but with 60Hz refresh rate on your display for compatibility sake to see how it behaves.

Some touhou games do the same thing and a solution I found to that is to unplug my mouse when playing. maybe try and see if that does the same thing for Exceed, too.
