Black boxes around the sprites?
I just installed the game on Win 10 but whenever I try to play I see black boxes around all of the sprites. http://imgur.com/p1WzRk4 Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried doing compatibility mode but that hasn't worked.

Does it happen both on fullscreen and windowed?

At all resolutions/window sizes?

Do you have an integrated graphics card? If so try pointing the game to that.

I presume you've tried verifying game files already?

Yes, Yes, Yes didn't work, Yes
Hmm.

No one else's yet posted the same problem about this game, but someone's posted the same problem about a different game, here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/281860/discussions/0/458604254472172046/

Do note that includes one person who eventually joins the thread angrily complaining about the devteam, so I'll save you the trouble of slogging through it and point you to this post where people talk about using wrappers: http://steamcommunity.com/app/281860/discussions/0/458604254472172046/#c368542585867295152

It seems that Win10 breaks something in the graphics in these games, unfortunately.

There's this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/207400/discussions/0/846959998058410269/
Anyway, it doesn't contain a solution.

I'm playing the game on Win10 as well but I haven't experienced this problem.

I am having the same issues. Windows 10, running it on the good graphics card.
have you checked the game files for corrupted files. Do you use the right drivers? Had problems with a win 10 upgrade a while ago, where my drivers to the chipset got replaced by microsoft visual adapter. I solved it downloading the exe for the graphicsdriver I used earlier in compatility mode. For the ones that upgraded their pc this might help.

Suffering from the same problem and i also haven't found a fix yet for it to work on windows 10, whatever i tried (compatibility mode, driver updates) i simply cannot get the transparency to work on those boxes.
I had a corrupted/missing file that needed to be validated but even after redownloading it isn't fixed and comes up again on the next validation, might have something to do with it or not, just wanted to mention it if someone else may experience the same issue we might be onto something at least.

So apparently one of the guys there used DXGL to get rid of the black boxes in RefleX. Might be worth a shot to try it.
Did it work for you? This is happening on my laptop, but not on my home PC. They're both running W10.
