I also would like to express my appreciation for allowing players to have these controls over their graphics settings. I especially appreciate being able to have the option to have vibrant colors while allowing players to have tamer muted colors. This increases inclusivity for a wider range of players without alienating those that loved the vibrant colors of the old demo. :) The same goes for being able to have boxy or round and fluffy or not bodies and legs. ^_^
Overall, I think the changes made to the UI et cetera have been good decisions as they make it easier to use for more people. One thing that I think has been more difficult has been not being able to just click to go where I want to make changes in the Wardrobe and instead have to press E or click the last tab multiple times to get to later tabs. I recognize that screen space is limited, but I think it may increase ease of use, and maybe alleviate some confusion, if all of those tabs could be accessed on the same screen/page, perhaps in a second row below the first one? Or perhaps have subtabs that are visible within, say, body and legs tabs that have the appropriate subtabs showing with each tab selected. This may not be as much of an issue for players that don't change their leg or hat colors very often, so I don't know how important that may be. I'd also find it more convenient to be able to choose a primary web color while in the Wardrobe also, but again, I don't know how important that would be on a grand scheme of things. (I also think it would be awesome to be able to color our eyes, but that's a completely different subject in this context. ^_^; )
I am immensely excited and enthused about the prospect of having multiple save slots! ^0^
I am confused about the prospective shop for customization... Are we no longer going to find hats and web colors around the map like a treasure hunt or with achievements? Or what items are we talking about?
Also, is this an inappropriate place to ask if we are no longer allowed to go outside? I have noticed that smooshing myself against floors/walls/ceilings no longer allows me access to the outside but instead phases me through the object smooshing me. If this is just a case of glitches being fixed, could we perhaps still access the outside by opening a single window or knocking out a singular pane of glass from a window, perhaps accompanied with a small note saying that the outside is not the focus of the game but if it brings us enjoyment we may come out? c: (I'm imagining this note being single-sided so that it is not visible until one has emerged from the opening so that it does not draw focus or attention until it is pertinent.)
I appreciate the engagement by the devs with the playerbase. ^_^ Great stuff! :D
