this is simply a game with the most obnoxious cheater playerbase ive seen in my life
i would never recommend anyone playing this, not even my worst enemies

the developers wont take accountability which seems like a joke with the amount of quality games you can play in 2026, they would much rather generate ai slop battlepass to THE FINALS and reallocate 100% of their resources to Slop Raiders development

also the amount of season1 bugs that are still present is hilarious

As I understand it, and as can be seen from their official discord channel, they could have been "intimidated" by the fact that allegedly (I repeat, allegedly) their anti-cheat system began to work unstable, and allegedly it began to block absolutely honest players just like that, issuing bans left and right.

There are already just a bunch of similar discussion threads where every player goes out of their way to prove to the developers that they were blocked undeservedly, while giving out completely brainless excuses that allegedly "they were kicked out of the match just like that, then the game started to work somehow unstable, they rebooted the computer, and after restarting and logging into the Steam account and logging into the game, they were banned....", and now they believe that the reason for the ban was a computer reboot).

Of course, I myself do not believe them 99% of the time, not excluding the possibility of undeserved/false bans as such, but at the same time, I am sure that there cannot be such an insane number of randomly issued bans, especially considering what I have been seeing in the game for more than a month. These anti-cheat are absolutely not blocked those dogsh*ts, even if they have new accounts, and even if they openly aim at your hitbox when you are behind several walls/obstacles/floors, or if they shoot with laser accuracy from half the map away from you.


I no longer have an explanation for the fact that they abruptly stopped blocking cheaters based on mass reports, and that the anti-cheat system also somehow just stopped reacting to them. The last time I received a reaction to my reports was on January 9th. But before this date, according to my reports, I received feedback from the developers almost every day, sometimes several a day.

Yesterday, one of my friends refused to continue playing at all, finding another cheater on repeat/killcam, and began to look for some other game to spend time with.

If everything continues in the same spirit, with another 45 days until the end of the season, then next season their skins and Ultimate BP will be bought either by beginners/newbies or by the developers themselves.

cheaters still a big issue cause its a free to play and they only need to recreate a new account and continue to show other ppl how small are theyre ♥♥♥♥♥ in public.
that said I think that finals still one of best and most oringal online FPS of the last decade. I dont see so many quality games in 2026.
For example I played 200 hours in BF6 and then uninstalled , annoying compared to the finals, static movement , campers everywhere and cheaters of course.

probably here there are more cheaters , but its hard to see people campering like in BF6 not cause people is better here but cause the game modes does not incentivate compulsive camping but continuous movement. In BF6 there is low visibility everytime and tons of spots where to hide and camp, here we all have that colored halo around us making impossible to camp for long times (maybe just some snipering in powershift)
