Suggestions; Maps, Events, Weapons, Equipment, and Modes
I do this quite often, but I usually can't help myself. lol. I think it's fun thinking up new things and talking with other people and their ideas. These are mine and I hope that you like them.

-Maps

Orange Map
If you were around during the Counter-Strike Source days or Left 4 Dead days, you may remember the orange maps. I honestly can't tell you why I loved them so much but I did. They were a ton of fun. Odd designs, very clear were you can and can't go, unique obstacles like floating parts of the map, towers, flowing water, and so on. Not much that I can say unless you were there, but I hope just saying orange maps, it pops up some memories in your head.

Toy Story
Not literal Toy Story but the idea that the players are the size of toys, playing in a house. These were my favorite maps in the old CSS days also, but other games have done it as well.

The Cemetery
Mostly wooded area with underground passageways, linking from tombs near the graveyard. The idea here is having a some what straight forward map were after a while, the whole forests can go up in flames splitting the map into two. One side being an old mansion and some other buildings, and the other being a huge cemetery, with the tombs or those concrete structures with doors on the front. The access both areas, there will be a sort of catacomb type area under the map that can also be blown open. I'm usually not a fan of claustrophobic areas, but it would fit the theme of the map and also the ability to break it open by destroying the supports to the catacombs could have it cave in and open.

Floating Islands
Three unique islands floating in the sky. One being more woodsy with a mansion, water flowing into the mists below. The second island, being mostly residential, with mostly buildings and bricked roads. The last island with a castle. All three islands clumped together to allow jump pads and wires to bring players from one to the other.

Boats and Ships
Fighting around a massive cruise ship with a cluster of smaller ships around. The water is deadly with sharks, so don't fall in. The cruise ship is already damaged, with flooded lower levels and more open areas, allowing the devs not to have to make so much rooms, and keeping the space more open and free.

The Train
A long map of a massive train. This is no normal train either. Each car is almost the size of a small house. Fighting on the inside or out is possible, but falling off of the train is deadly.

The Castle
A massive and ancient castle, half flooded, completely overgrown by nature. Almost feels fantasy, until towers of it is collapsing due to explosions from the players. The central hall is the largest room in the map, while what is left all the towers are open rooms or bridges.

-Events

Flooding
Pouring rain causes the roads and the inside of buildings on the first floor to flood waist deep, slowing players. This event will cause the players to want to go to higher ground to not get slowed down, putting a much easier target on their backs.

Tornado
Not so much to harm the players, but instead to pick up debris and move it to another place. Time and time again, collapsed buildings can cause problems getting over the debris, but a tornado can either make a mess of a map, or help clean up the piles of debris that are in the way.

Phantoms
Best on the dark maps, the phantoms roam around, jumping in front of players to scare them. They won't hurt you, but they will be distracting if you are not high enough or stay in buildings to long.

Zombies
Okay, okay.. hear me out. Slow moving zombies that only wander around the streets that are easily killed but can outnumber the player could be fun and a yes, I'm one of those that thinks every game needs a zombie mode. lol

The Blob
There is a much cooler name for it but I can't find it and figured this was easier to understand anyways. The idea here is a black, oozy, blob of bones and gross slimeing around in slow moving, creeping fashion. Gobbling up anyone who runs into it, not looking. The idea of this one is something that is scary and ever present in your mind once you get the alert of this event. It can go through anything and melt down to reform somewhere else. The only thing keeping you safe from this is the fact of how slow it actual moves. Don't get cornered.

-Weapons

The Bow
I'm a sucker for bows in shooters. Not sure why. Maybe because I'm part native, no idea. With this weapon, you have a a windup time before you can loosen the bow, but when the arrow hits its target, the damage is high. Could be a bow that each arrow has a benefit to it. You shoot an arrow with high damage, but then your next arrow you pull is a fire arrow, once you use that, your next arrow has dynamite on it, and so on. Not sure if I like this idea, but would be neat to have two different bows. Maybe a normal bow for the light class, a short bow. Long bow for medium class. And for the heavy class, this odd bow that shoots a random set of arrows. Or maybe the medium class has fire arrows and the heavy class has explosive tipped arrows.

Futuristic Rifle
This has been something that I've seen pop up in other forums or YouTube videos, discussing that this is the future but there isn't any futuristic weapons. A lot of the people do praise the game for sticking with familiar weapons just because it feels good to play and feels familiar. But each person did wish for something, so that's why this suggestion is here. This could be a railgun or maybe something like Half-Life 2 gun that the combine used (not literally). Could even be more of a zappy type gun that a bit more silly but I sort of hate those guns, so personally hope it isn't that. lol

Spear
I don't know how I feel about more melee weapons but figured a spear for the medium class could be fun. I suppose they have the shield, but I always forget about it being a melee weapon. The spear having the reach could be useful but it takes more time than most other weapons to strike. The alt attack could be a sweep, primary being a thrust.

Throwing Axe
Yes yes... another melee. An axe that you can throw. More damage than the knife but longer fire rate (weird to say it that way but don't really know how else to put it.) Also, the alt attack is just a melee attack.

Dual Crossbows
So, there usually is someone who wants a crossbow. I hate crossbows ironically. lol. So, I figure to make it seem different from the bow, having two crossbows. Could be for the light class. Could be high damage, fast attack, but reload times would be long.

-Equipment

Robot Hamster
I couldn't think of anything else, so we'll go with that. This little guy can be tossed down and run towards a mine, detonating it. He only works if he is in the vicinity of one, and will only detonate one at a time but could trigger a mine by the mine he detonated. This idea is just to have something to deal with those mines that you see but can't shoot without putting yourself out there. Coming up to a bunch of mines on a cashout and campers, you basically have to blow it up or sacrifice yourself, so hopefully this helps.

Jammer
I'm not sure if something like this is there, I know of the glitch grenade, but I haven't unlocked that one yet. This however is a wearable. Once the ability is activated, in a circle around you, you mess up any device. So, light class running around you with invisibility on or turrets, it causes them to not work properly. This'll allow you to get closer to the turrets or see the person cloaking.

The Prop
Of course, another CSS reference. This ability allows you to become a prop in the map, allowing you to hide really effectively. But when this is activated, you cannot do any damage, you can only run away. So, it doesn't get abused. The point of this; surveillance, claiming a cashout and waiting to other teams to duke it out only to be the last one standing and claiming the cashout again, so on.

-Modes

Infected
Probably one of my favorite game modes. And of course another CSS mod reference. You start off with everyone on one team (of course still sticking with the teams of 3, working together) with one random person infected, but they don't know it until the time goes down to start the mode. The point of the infected, to infect everyone. The last team to either infect the most players, or the last team to stay alive wins.

Deathmatch
Just a straight forward deathmatch. No gimmicks, no objectives, just only getting kills. I'm not sure on this gamemode because one thing I love about the battlefield games is that everyone can get a high score as long as they play well, and playing well could be a lot of different things. So, if you are not good at shooting, you can be good at capturing points, or repairing, or healing. You could end up on the high score just from being a good team member. I love that. But as I play The Finals, I can't help but want a deathmatch mode. I won't be the best player, but it would be fun nonetheless.

King of the Hill
These maps are temporary, either by water flooding into the map or it collapsing layer by layer into the void below. The point of the gamemode and map is to reach the top, killing players along the way.

That's all that I can come up with so far. This has been a thing floating around in my head for over a week. So, I'm sure I missed one and will need to update later because it'll bother me not getting it down. I do this thing a lot, these suggestions, but I can't help it. I love video games and I'm a creative person, so I hope someone out there will appreciate all this and maybe add to it or take one of these ideas and make it better. The point of all of this, is just to make the game better. It's one of those games I can't help myself to keep playing and I'd love to see it blossom even more. But I do feel it needs something more and maybe this'll be it. Who knows. Or maybe someone who reads this will comment an even better idea and that ends up in the game. The point of all of this is to just start a discussion.

Oh, and why I didn't add any changes to the game or nerfs/buffs, I can't really think of anything. There are some builds that are annoying to play against but usually I'll see another player who is built just right to take out those builds, so I don't know. Plus, I can't really think of a way to fix this. With some of my ideas, I kept this stuff in mind.

Also also, sorry for any bad grammar here. Typing this out while my kids are in the background being kids. Why when I write or paint, I do it when they are asleep. lol
