Mouse side buttons bug

So me and quite a few of my friends have this bug where binding an action to a mouse side button just does not work. The game registers it when rebinding in the settings but then you get in-game and it just doesn't work. The buttons clearly work as I can use them in other games just fine so it seems to be a problem with just The Finals.

My question is is this some rare issue that only me and some people I know are having or is it a universal issue that the developers are aware of and will be addressing soon?

had you googled your mouse, i have a razor with 2 side buttons and both works correctly with the bindings i had made.

What would googling my mouse accomplish?
Like I said the buttons work fine in others games. It's a Logitech G502.

The problem I ran into was when the primary input was a key and secondary was a mouse button, only one of them worked. If you have it set the same way, try mapping only a mouse button as an input and no keys.

Yeah that's what I did initially. Didn't work either way. I currently have an input (push to talk) bound to mouse button for primary and T for secondary. Before and after mouse button didn't work but T works perfectly fine.

MAYBE googling your mouse related to the GAME you are having ISSUES with? i dont know i was just trying to give an advice but maybe that was rocket science.

Desktop: Default - Manage profiles put clicked desktop for profile even tho it was already set to default and then locked the mouse in the mouse settings top left bar and the locking icon. im not sure how or why but its working now - in G HUB logitech G502 Lightspeed hope it helps someone
