If they removed Recon Senses, what should it be replaced with?
Recon Senses can't remain in the game at even 10% of its current strength level. Personally, I think it should just be removed and replaced with Night Vision that can be toggled on and off with no limit (perhaps a stronger version of the regular Night Vision that highlights at further range).

I'd actually be okay if they kept both Invisibility and stun at the current strength level if they just gave all 3 classes Night Vision. Currently, all Lights can equip Night Vision which is a strong counter to Cloak. Medium can equip Recon Senses, but it is ridiculously over powered. Heavy can one-shot Light but is helpless if stunned without teammates nearby. If they removed Recon but gave both Medium and Heavy Night Vision, I think this would go a long way to fixing the Meta.

Remove ALL superpowers.... take a BIG and wide whiff of the old game called bad company 2 and how it was done in 2010, cause you wont squeeze water out of a rock.

invisiblity ruins the game so much that recon is needed constantly in quick play to even survive a few minutes. I would suggest removing cloak + recon at this point and thinking of 2 new perks

I definitely don't think recon is very OP, it's really hard to coordinate where the enemies are with your teammates since they don't see it. I am pretty bad though so maybe like at higher levels it's super abusive idrk.

Recon is more like a tax you have to pay in quick match, bc of L cloaks. Like BKB in Dota. You don´t want it, but you have to as a M player.
Remove the superpowers if you want a good shooter, otherwise this game is more like a team Tekken or how you want to call it.

The problem with recon is that there is no counter or mitigating factors for it. So as a medium, you can be near the cashout, use recon senses, and say, just before the guy is turning a corner down a hall, you toss a grenade or mine and ads at head level and melt the guy. If you have to cross a stretch of open area, forget about it. They can see you the second you exit a building.

They need to reduce the range on it as well. You can't tell me that seeing people 200 meters away through 10 buildings isn't a huge advantage.

They need to do something like with thermal vision where you cannot start/stop instantly. You have a cooldown period. Also with thermal, you can't see poison gas so that's another mitigation for that skill whereas recon senses has no actual counter or mitigation to it other than recharging it.

Unlike cloak, you don't need it on near as long either.

The meta seems to be 1 or 2 medium with recon, a second medium with heals, and a heavy. I've seen a lot of 3 medium teams all with recon decimating everyone. If they know how to position and use mines/nades well, it's extremely difficult to get by that kind of defense.

It's a fair ability to keep in game, it just needs tweaking. My vote would be to reduce range and longer toggle times like with thermal vision.

Plus when you toss that skill in on top of players still using reWASD, it's a no win situation.

i thought smokes counter it, or is that only sonar? plus isn't the further away it pings the less accurate the sense itself is. it also doesn't last very long. I've never seen anyone but me use it to be honest. I usually see 3 mediums with turrets
