I would like to have at least one source for this claim. That Valve or Epic Games said officially to enable EAC on Linux would require only a checkbox make the game playable (if nothing else hinders compatibility off course).
No problems over here with cloud saves
110fps on Windows, 140fps in 'nix.
Runs flawlessly. Don't even know the last time it crashed (I don't think it has) and the only problem I've run into is people leaving the game but they still show up in my team. I think that's a universal weird thing, though.
Yep - check the docs. Proton even has an official shim for EAC.
On a side note, Battlefield 2042 released without EAC. Worked flawlessly in linux. Then they added EAC after the botpocalypse and it never worked again. No refund, too many hours, get rekt.
Embark added it within like a day of complaints. 10/10 Embark.
This is one thing that confuses/surprises me. I've never had a problem with VC.
Fedora, AMD/AMD
Played a whole match of Bank It. No problems.
