I've played with throwing knifes more recently because it is such a cool and unique weapon, but it is a struggle for sure. The only real advantage you have is that you can pressure a opponent who is in need to reload. But that is about it. And you have to single them out, it is not viable against a team who stick togheter.
And as much as I want to like the right click throw because of how neat it looks. It is actually some of the most useless damage dealing option I have ever come across in a online game, and that is not even a exaggeration. The regular throw could also benefit from some longer range, as it is quite short at the moment.
ANd knives too
???
Do you dominate the game with throwing knifes?
It's an interesting logic you have going there. You begin with saying that it's essentially wrong to ask for buffs for a class that you in the same breath calls the most useless class. If we apply the same logic that you just claimed. Then you must want buffs to what you think is the strongest class, no?
My main issue with throwing knifes is basically that the right click throw is way to slow in the majority of situations, that is all. That is the main buff needed.
