A game mode with Bots

I know that The Finals is a purely competitive game. However, being a solo player for the majority of the time, I think it would be more than interesting for Embark Studios to develop a game mode with Bots. It's a pity they haven't thought of it yet, because I like the concept of the game - either I play alone, or my friends just never want to play it.
Perhaps they could create a Team Death Match & a Free For All game mode with Bots.

As a single player who enjoys this game, (when it dosen't crash in the middle of a game), what would you like to see added to the game?

I'm confused why you wouldn't just play with real people? Why would you prefer bots?

Bots have never been good in any game and are a waste of development time.

In fact, one could come up with a lot of ideas on what to organize in this game if bots were added to it. I personally would not refuse the appearance of bots in the game. At least for the sake of variety. But if these bots began to replace players leaving online matches, then a lot would depend on how they would play in that case. And there is a high probability that if someone leaves your team, they will slip a bot in their place, but if they are from the enemy team, then in 2-5 seconds they will find and add real people.
At least I have this kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the time. If we have 1-2 people drop out, then a replacement is found for them within 2-10 minutes (sometimes a replacement doesn’t appear even until the very end of the match), but if someone drops out of the opposing teams, then there, as I said above - a new player appears very, very quickly...

What i meant about adding bots, was for the ones who just want to really practice themselves outside of the useless practice range and making us able to play solo with easy, normal and hard bots. I am not the type of player who will play with random ones and my friends and family aren’t always able or in the mood to play this game. Like i said, The Finals have plenty potential, but i would be more willing to play often with this kind of mode, being a AAA solo game player.

You can play the game solo, just search for a match and you'll be added with other people. There's nothing, that I know of, that stops you from searching for a match solo.

You can play the game solo, just search for a match and you'll be added with other people. There's nothing, that I know of, that stops you from searching for a match solo.

Maybe they just don't want to play against people, and how toxic this game gets I can't blame them.

The game doesnt have text chat and you can opt out of voice chat. What toxicity?

Sure you can opt out but then whats the point if you cant communicate with your team mates, when no one communicates or calls things out it kinda sucks.

I agree, so how would bot matches help? You can't voice chat with bots and if you have 2 buddies, your issue of playing solo is gone.

Because then you don't have to deal with humans at all with bots and maybe some people just prefer to play/practice with bots and not want to deal with people, these days games vs AI are more popular than ever (*cough* Helldivers *cough*). Also why do you care so much anyways if people prefer to play bots, let people want what they want sheesh. I dont even have a dog in this fight I was just saying what could be a possible reason, so I'm not gonna sit here and argue anymore about something I really dont give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ about with someone so hardcore against people preferring to play bots lol.

I don't think embark will invest the time and resources into this, simply because it'd take a lot of them for a rather niche group of players. The navmesh for bots would have to be updated maybe hundreds of times throughout a match with how much destruction there is. I could see a pve section in a sort of tutorial mode where players are taught builds, gadgets and abilities in a practical way. But some games really aren't suited to have PvE modes, not every game needs a PvE mode, and The Finals is one of them.

Helldivers and The Finals are such vastly different games down to their core that you can't even make a point there. Helldivers is built around PvE, The Finals is built around PvP. The only thing they really have in common is shooting. It's like saying every game should have an open world mode with catchable creatures and crafting mechanics, because Palworld was incredibly popular a few months ago.

Oh don't get me wrong I don't think the devs will ever put bots in this game. The main and only real reason is the logistics of having bots use items, abilites and navigate through an ever changing destructable map, not gonna happen.
