Lost my Account after unlink embark

Hi everyone, I lost my account and my progress. I linked my Steam account to embark then removed the link, losing all progress. Is there a solution, has this ever happened to any of you? Thank you so much.

why did you unlink it? an Embark account is REQUIRED to play, you HAVE to have an embark accountl.

I dunno why'd you even do such a thing. Did you get banned and wanted to start a new embark account ?

simply because I followed a tutorial to solve the connection problem. I linked the account and then unlinked.

this is a case of the big dumb.
how in the world would that solve a connection issue?
linking and unlinking your account is totally unrelated. but i have to ask what kind of connection issue was it? maybe theres something we are missing here.

Same thing happened to me.
When launching the game I was stuck on "Connecting" screen for minutes. Restarting did not help, running as admin did not help.
There was a post on reddit that unlinking your steam from embark id will solve the issue. I tried it. Did not read the red text and unlinked. After that the game launched fine, but all progress was lost. With all items etc.

So in a way, it solved the connection issue, but screwed up everything else.

oof thats a troll ass post. most connection issues ive had so far all i do is relaunch the game multiple times and it will usually sort it self out eventually. usually on the 3rd - 5th try.

be sure to ALWAYS read the red text lol its red for a reason.
but there has to have been a better way to fix this. yeah this "fix" worked right away but its costly. similar to doing a system reset at the slightest issue with a computer lol.

I was having the error "Download Failed" when I was trying to open the game. So I saw a topic saying to unlink the account. Cool, the game now launches but all my progress is gone.
