Spear for Heavys

Tell me if i missunderstand this, but am i right that there is an animation lock for the spears special spin attack on the right click?
I guess i cant cancel the animation once i started it.
That would be a huge no for me because you are an easy target while locked in that animation.

Correct. You can't cancel the right click, its a commitment. I think the point of it is you charge in or hook someone then do it. Or its for close quarters when people are around you since it hits behind and around you as well.
