The new map is objectively bad.

It's literally the worse map of the roaster so far, here is why:

- Hard to read colors.
- Bland level design, the map is flat, lacks geometry and interesting spaces.
- Effects, and destroy-able geometry are gone, making the interesting of destroying the bases of a building uninteresting for instance.
- The audio is so tacky / cheesy I get the style they're going for here, but this is just over-doing it.

Developers, please do take this thread into account. I have questioned multiple friends what they thought about the new map and we pretty much all agreed on these points.

I was saying this also just because of lack of creativity alone, the map is literally some blocks put together, no textures, quite annoying to look at etc. Must have taken the devs 10 minutes to make it no joke

it removes the main element that makes this game stand out. DESTRUCTION.
i cant blow up a skyscraper with my buds.
i cant bring buildings down with explosives.
i cant blow through a wall to get to a cashout, i have to find the path to the cashout.
not to mention that the map looks like it was made in 10 minutes.
the damn buildings look so ♥♥♥♥, its not even funny.
there are so many lights in this map it looks like a twitch streamers pc.

The audio and visual design is just awesome and I love it. There's still destruction, it's not gone.... Gameplay wise it's cool too, especially medium with dematerializer is fun on it. I'm not a fan of it being so open in some areas with so many angles, but that's ok, still a good map.

I agree, the new map is kind of ass. The only plus-side is because of the blandness, I get constant 165 FPS on it (my frame cap). The map is way too large, with huge open areas with 100 sight lines and no cover. The buildings all seem the wrong scale compared to the players, giant ass hallways and 15 foot ceilings. It takes 20 minutes to cross the map, there's not enough bounce pads and zip lines and the spawns this season have been reworked and are even worse than last season so spawning 400m away from the cashout is common. Map looks cool over-all, but plays worse than vegas most of the time.
