The grenade launcher is terrible... you either need to be set up in a nasty angle or the people you're firing at need to practically LET you kill them for how slow it is, how low damage it is, and the conditions it needs to even hit someone in the first place. Anyone killing you with that is playing with a handicap and winning.

There was no such thing as noob tube until crappy games like CoD came out and all the casual players needed something to cry about. Rocket Launcher and Grenades were a staple of FPS games.

The granade launcher are bad at long range, and horrible at close range, and basically impossible to use against a player in mid air. It also get hard countered against APS turrets since you cant shoot the APS turrets with your one and only main weapon.

My advice is to simply use the nade launcher yourself, and see if it takes you to the diamond rank in a flash. Should be pretty easy since you think it's so OP.

I don't super understand all the hate for the grenade launchers. The Heavy's launcher is borderline unusable in a competitive setting, and the Medium one has virtually no splash damage so you have to get direct hits to do anything. If you miss one shot you're usually dead to anyone who knows what they're doing.

Also APS turrets make them pretty unusable too. And since you can't change guns mid game in ranked, if you have a grenade launcher and someone has APS you just lose.
