The hitbox according to skins

I'm really interested in the skin with the TV instead of the character's head, but I wonder if it's badly done?
Will the hitbox be wider because of the skin or will players who thought they were going to hit me shoot at the side of the hitbox when they're actually on the edge of the TV? Has anyone got a video of this?

It didn't get wider with alien head. It will not get wider now too.
