Broken Obs Game Capture

Hi, since patch my obs cant use game capture on Discovery.exe. Black Screen. I tried the annoying obs fix black screen youtube video's but nothing has worked incl rivatuner profile.

Is this a bug or should i expect it to stay? Is my only option to use window capture?

I would suggest shadowplay or steam capture. If you dont have a Nvidia card then that might be out of the equation.

I use obs to stream and clip, is it not preferable to use obs for those things over shadowplay or steam?

Well you mentioned using windows capture. I was offering other suggestions in the interim. I too would also use OBS as well but if you're also streaming the options i mentioned wont be the most viable. I have no idea if this will get fixed though, it might just get caught up in some sweeps when the patch some engine issues or you can report it to the devs. The issue could be OBS or the client, im leading to it being the client.

ah yes i meant window capture in obs instead of game capture or display capture.
Yeah it's weird it has to be the patch. I'll see if i think its worth reporting as Embark should do something for me first after the nerfs and removal of fun for the melee class. I would not be surprised if this is because CIA hates sword players.

Also tried it and compatibility mode too. Seems to be a different thing than any post online so far has suggested (that ive seen). So i assume its just s5 launch hickups.
