After some playing around for a lil bit the new stuff kinda sucks.

Diamond/ruby heavy main, I haven't used the new light vortex but I have used everything else added.

We will start with Medium and its new shotgun the Cerberus. It's fun but it by no means is good. Infact its quite the opposite it just sucks straight up. The dragons upset tummy rounds oh sorry dragons breath rounds ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck. Unless you are breathing down their necks you won't be igniting and the burn damage is like 3-5 ticks so not much maybe enough to finish off a light in silver rank but any light in higher elo and worth their salt will run circles around this thing and since it takes more then three shots to take down a heavy? Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck I have not died ONCE to it as heavy, haven't run into it as light and as medium in which I was testing it out...eh. It takes three shots to kill a medium at around 5 meters and with this things spread holy mother of god it just is a stinker. Overall it is a bad weapon if you take The Finals seriously in your ranked lobbies (plat and higher) don't bring this just bring the model 1887 which segways into my next point.

The model 1887 is still super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy S+ tier weapon and well im not surprised. That makes sense that the Cerb would suck, the devs were clearly walking on eggshells trying to avoid just giving the medium most likely a BETTER shotgun then the model. If anything they shot themselves in the foot adding this weapon theres not enough around all three classes to give the cerb to the medium in a good state. Will it get buffed? 100% it sucks so bad right now but in what way they buff it we have yet to see cause again they are going to avoid encroaching onto the model 1887. So they either nerf the lever action and buff the cerb or they buff the cerb to be nearly on par. It really is a lose lose situation they got themselves into.

Heavy time, we will start with the gadget lockbolt because I have a shorter rant about it. It's.......mid. It's kinda mid? The lil projectile can be broken, it takes forever to deploy and actually capture someone, and by all means once captured they can still whip around and dome you. The lockbolt is a poor mans stun gun or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stun gun made for groups. It is most beneficial to people who just...aren't good, it feels like a tool that you only use for once or twice to get the feel of heavy and never touch it again. Because heres another thing if something breaks line of sight with the chain the ground will instantly break. I've had enough space to run around a corner and break the lockbolt or have a team mate through a goo and break it. It really isn't too good.

NOW THE REASON I MADE THIS POST THE SHAK ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 50. This thing at first I thought was AMAZING after my first five rounds with it doing some ranked I thought holy MOLY this thing is beautiful its all I could ever ask for. I was even hoping they would give the ash-12 (The shak-50's real world counterpart) to the heavy. Then I got back into high diamond and ruby lobbies....then I really got to feel thing thing, now to preface I'm a sadist. I use the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ks23 all the time. Its my go too WITH CHARGE not even the wench claw. I pop off I can end a ruby game with 40+ kills I am proud of myself I enjoy stomping on my balls. But the shak is just not it. The range is lower then the ks23, the amount of rounds in the magazine is abysmal since the range is so low you'll need to put yourself at disadvantage hoping to close that distance or shoot corn flakes at your enemy the entire fight. The rate of fire is dog dookie and then there's the stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmick because heavy can't just have a weapon it needs to have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmick. The Shak-50's gimmick is that it shoots two bullets for the price of one and you might be thinking "DAMN SNAYOTIC THAT SOUNDS AMAZING HOW CAN THIS WEAPON SUCK!" Because my dear simple friend, those two bullets? Yeah them. They equal up to its "high damage" If you ever use it and are fighting a zippy light and wonder "Damn that shot did like NO damage at all?" Thats cause the light got hit by ONE of those two bullets. Now that will never happy against a medium and heavy but it still annoying. Because that gimmick is whats going to stop the shak from being buffed in either rate of fire or range. I will say where it is damage wise is fine. But it needs either more bullets, range, or a rate of fire buff. Cause where it currently stands the shak-50 just is meh. I hope something is done with it because the general feel of the weapon is superb its deliciousness.

Ending thoughts. Again I haven't used the vortex so if someone wants to give their thoughts I'd be appreciative. For now though the current new toys added with season 5 are lack luster if you are a medium or heavy main in a higher elo there is no reason to swap out for your currentl loadouts to these new weapons unless you want to genuinely try them yourself. Especially since the Cerb has its better cooler older brother and the shak well....just pick up the lewis gun. Hopefully you found this entertaining cause now that im cooling off imma go run ranked back with my beloved KS.

Did you expect Embarkd do something good? Embark killed this game when releasing S3 garbage TA and since then they cut support of the game if you are not blind. Still only one map and it have 0 verticality 2 gadgets and 2 weapons and S6 will be even less or game died before S6

100% facts game died a long time ago.it had 250k players at start 1 month l8r half the players left.hello red flags.every month continues to lose players.embark doesn't have a single brain cell among them.seeing the game fail embark for season 3 steal a game mode from csgo to try bring back players.again that failed.the copium addicts and taint sniffers will say "game not dead,skill issue"really?wow good luck
