From lights moving around so fast you cant even begin to try shooting them, to heavies using sledgehammer and moving faster then lights while swinging their hammers, to the hit reg that is so bad its actually hilarious this game was even able to make it to season 5.

As someone who plays this game almost daily i have found that there is a strange inconsistent delay between each lobby i get placed in. I find myself having to essentially learn how to aim all over again as there is some form of input latency that changes each time i start a new game causing me to miss shots or look in the wrong direction entirely.

Playing in a private match gives me no issues as im able to actually aim and shoot where im aiming without needing to aim 40 years in advance to account for the time it takes for the game to realise im trying to shoot or turn my head slightly.

The first few rounds i just played (of season 5) were the worst games ive ever played in my entire time ive been playing, just a team of 3 heavies sliding faster then the speed of light and basically jolting 5 metres across the ground to hit me, they didnt even need to be near me as a single swing from 10 metres away seems to be able to reach me just fine.

Evasive dash is still proving to be very annoying as i cannot do anything when someone teleport through me and back stabs me without even looking at my back. Lights still do crazy damage with insane speed while the heavy class gets decent damage too but with extra health instead of the lights movement.

What does medium class get? A nerf to the only thing that made medium strong, the defib, you now cant do anything after being defibed aside from reloading. Now im not totally against this as triple stack mediums are pretty annoying when they just defib and heal all the time but honestly id rather go up against triple stack heal spam and defibs as apposed to triple heavies or lights.

It seems medium class now does the least damage in the game unless you are a god at aiming. This was the case before but you had the excuse of them being a support class but it feels like the devs are trying to slowly remove any semblance of support.

Honestly i dont get the rush this game used to give me, the matchmaking is the exact same as its always been so if i play one good game and win by a tiny fraction (which doesnt give me a rush and instead just has me begging for my team to help through half the game, which they wont), the games gonna instantly put me with fresh players who just started playing the finals or some kind of chimp missing half of its brain thats been given a mouse and keyboard.

Needing to babysit morons all the time is taking its toll on me, most of the time its not their fault, its just how the matchmaking is. I would love to go up against people who are as skilled as me but apparently thats not possible for some obscure reason. Just match people up who have gotten similar results in their previous games. it puts all the sweats together so they can fight, and all the new players together so they can learn. Even allows casual players to play with other people who arnt playing this game 368 days a year. Those who try to abuse this by maybe purposly sucking can be banned automatically if they essentially do nothing despite playing previous rounds sweating their asses off. a temporary ban of course but one thats enough to make de-ranking (is what i will call it) not worth it.

Surely that is an idea that could be morphed into something great, the current matchmaking sucks ass. The worst part of my day is that ive just gotten off work, i come home to try the new update of the finals, i load my first game of the season, and its some of the sweatiest most disgusting players using the most brain dead load outs known to man kind. Full teams of lights that never miss a shot and melt me in less then half a second to heavies that just wont die and are more accurate then my famaz. The only class of people i can usually take on as a medium is other mediums and even then they will probably land more shots then me as im crippled by some kindve skill or server issue.

Just had to rant a bit as im both mad an curious to see if anyone else feels the same way. This game seems to have either never been truly popular amongst aussies (yes i am aussie) or the aussies have slowly lost interest in this game over time. Ranked, bank it and world tour is impossible to play in oce as either the entirety of oce doesn't wanna play or there just isnt enough people playing the game to get rounds. maybe 14 people were able to play world tour in season 4 from oce and the leader board wasnt even full for ranked.

Honestly i refuse to spend more money on this game until these issues are fixed or even just looked into, but yeah, this is probably gonna be where i call it for the season. Games not fun anymore, thanks for reading.

I've been playing since Alpha in 2022, I have 1500 hours in game since release and im in the same boat. I just uninstalled, I stopped buying gun skins when they ruined the LH1 to the point where the people that mained it no longer use it, and the people that didn't use it still don't use it. Last season I got the battlepass with coins I had left over and didn't spend a dime. I've spent $300~ on this game, I bought a t-shirt. I loved this game, and I could deal with this season and todays patch being a literal nothing-burger if they actually fixed some of the bugs or improved the netcode and they did neither. I might get 1 good server every 10 matches where I don't feel like im constantly getting screwed and my shots actually land properly and im not spending the entire game dead or playing with handicapped team mates.

I have not even played and this season is the first one i am thinking of not getting the battlepass and maybe stop playing. I have not looked at patch notes yet but i can tell you for me I have been really enjoying power shift as it lets me just relax. I am really sick of weeklys that make me play a mode i no longer care for or really want to play. if all these changes are what it seems like that might be icing on the cake for me to stop to. also this battle pass and last battle pass are horrible. I was trying to get friends to play especially in season 3 and rooting for the game to do well. now we will have to see though.

Absolutely on point, well stated for a casual player. The game is morphing into esports focus, and pushing competitive modes. Not getting the S1 rush anymore. Not much diversity in loadouts, either, meta still dominating.

My only advice is now, don't play world tour, stick only to casual one round modes. If you have friends, bring them, otherwise don't expect much. And the best part of casual? If you have ample evidence your team or lobby is mismatched, you can leave without penalty. Try another mode.

Haven't won a single match of WT since this launch... full stacks are terminating solo queuers.

EVERY TIME a non meta weapon is nerfed, solo queue players are hurt and tryhard 3 man navy seal units are buffed. obsession with nerfing needs to stop, they just nerfed medium mobility for some reason?

no, im not sure why my review shows like that, I had way more than 11 hours when I first reviewed it (and I already had 300 hours between alpha and all 3 betas before the game launched), and I completely rewrote the review hundreds of hours later and it doesn't show that for some reason. I'm still here because I love the game mechanically, like my review says, but the devs have no clue what they are doing and keep making it worse.
