pls devs

first off, you don't fix bad optimization by slapping framegen on top and calling it a day
second, the latency would be so bad it'd be unplayable, framegen tech is more suited for singleplayer games

frame gen in its current state would add too much latency for game like this.

if it helps to know, the overall suspect is UE 5 (the game engine), it is not well known for being friendly to anything but very high end systems.

and secondary, Finals actually uses a lot of CPU power. so if you haven't checked that on your system yet it might be worth seeing how much utilization your computer is doing and what you can do about it.

they could always reduce the effect of load that your cpu takes when the building fall off that sh*t a menace i have seen heavy hammers intentionally breaking the cashout building just the make the whole server lag.

One of my friends plays with Nvidia FG and this does not prevent him from having a better score than mine. the main problem for me is the huge fps drops on Kyoto

this
it's time for modern devs to learn how to optimize games instead of raising hardware reqs and claiming «MUH YOU NEED BETTER HARDWARE TO PLAY THIS GAME»
i have games from 2015-2016 that look as good if not better than the average 2022-2024 UE5 game while taking HALF of the performance required for UE5 games.
devs back then didn't use DLSS or FSR bs as an excuse to not optimize their games.

he never said you couldn't play with FG
FG adds latency, this is shameful for a competitive game in any case

It seems to me that the delay is not so bad if the base frame rate does not fall below 50. it's better than playing at real 50 fps on Kyoto, which is why my eyes are already bleeding

the absolute state of UE5 games : slam FG to barely reach 60 FPS

with every setting on low (except textures, AA and Render distance), my 6700XT can barely get me up to 150FPS on the oldest maps which are the mot optimized ones
on kyoto/fortune stadium it goes down to 105FPS
